I stumbled across this little gem of a pub having just moved to Deal. Friendly, good food and beer and also live music. Also the best looking landlady this side of the river Yangtze! (DH)

Lovely pub with superb views from the decking area large gardens.

The Rum Puncheon 87 Weat Street Gravesend Kent DA11 OBL (signposted off the A2 as Riverside Heritage town) is a delight.Its situation by the River Thames ……Car parking opposite-free at weekendsIts Décor – clean light Regency elegance –the pub dotted with objets d’art and old photos/prints.Its Food – home cooked , limited menu to ensure each plate is served beautifully- the portions such you leave room for a pudding.And its BEER- always a selection of the very best bitters including the rare GravesendShrimper-my favourite- served perfectly.The service is friendly and attentive.
